Academics
I have always been passionate about academics and have been trying to identify my interests since coming to IITB. After the first year internship at Oneirix where I built an echo-canceler, I had the feeling that this is it - Signal Processing. I loved the subject. I took up a minor in Statistics and started taking up variety of EE courses to generate the requisite engineering background. However, this changed after my internship at Yahoo Research and Machine Learning is the latest, and hopefully a stable, interest. Web Search and Mining is by far the best course I have attended till date - Prof Soumen and his teaching style is beyond words.
Broadly I am interested in
