Hi, I am a fourth year postgraduate student, doing my PhD in Computer Science and Engineering Department at IIT Bombay under the supervision of Prof. Sharat Chandran

Pictures fascinate me. So does their behavior, their nuances and their semantics. I feel it was no coincidence, that disciplines like Computer Vision and Computer Graphics struck a deep chord inside me. They say "a picture speaks a thousand words". Very abstractly put, I do believe that Computer Vision is all about hearing and understanding these words, which are subtly embedded in these pictures. Right now, I am in the process of listening, so that I can hear some of these words, at the same time develop some artificial aids which will enable me to hear them more crisply and clearly
