IIT Bombay and Persistent Systems Pvt. Ltd, Pune are pleased to announce the third in the series of annual workshops on data management. The previous two workshops on this series were on query optimization and on XML. This years theme is data management in bioinformatics, and will include talks on storage and analysis of various types of bioinformatics data.

Faculty from several departments in IIT Bombay, and experts from the industry and other colleges/research labs will be presenting talks at this workshop.

As with previous workshops, this years workshop will be open to all IITians (faculty, staff and students), and by invitation to people from outside IIT. To attend you must register online (and may have to collect tickets, in case of high demand). Details will be posted shortly.
