Note :
- Each project group must give a demo of one tool related to
databases/information systems (including web tools). Here are some
examples. You can feel free to pick your own tool, but get approval from
me. Small groups (under 4 people) can combine with other groups.
You can divide up work within a group as you see fit, so long as this
plus project is properly load balanced.
Examples:
Web related : zope, php, javabeans, Microsoft ASP, ColdFusion, Glimpse, Javascript
DB related : Mysql, MS SQL Server, DB2, PostgresSQL, SQL Server OLAP, Oracle Forms
Demos will be for 20 or 30 minutes (depending on your need), in future
lab sessions, starting from next week. When you sign up for a topic you
must also sign up for a slot. Slots early on will be graded more
leniently, so best to sign up for next week!
- Along with your demo (for about 20 min) you should give a 5 min description of your DBIS project. Total time should not exceed 30 minutes.
