The IITB Marketplace is the first step towards introducing online trading and the concept of C2C marketplaces in a relevant and useful format to the residents of the campus . The IITB Marketplace is a project undertaken by Jayant Bansal and Siddharth Tandon under the guidance of Prof. S. Sudarshan as part of the Databases and Information Systems Course. The motive behind the project was to bring to the residents of the IIT campus the efficiencies of an online marketplace thus helping them in getting the best deal.
