Nagarjuna Sagar- Srisailam Tiger Reserve, Kurnool

The principal formation of Nallamalais hills is the Kurnool and the Cuddapah formations
The forests in the reserve are mainly, Southern Tropical Dry Mixed Deciduous Forests. Other types found are Dry Deciduous Scrub, Dry Euphorbia Scrub, with a mixture of Boswellia Serrata, Hardwickia Binata and Anogeissus Latifolia.

How to Reach
190 kms. from Kurnool & 216 kms. from Hyderabad. Srisailam is well connected by Bus service and there are frequent buses from Kurnool and Hyderabad. Nearest railway station to Srisailam: Markapuram (85kms.), Macherla (160kms.), Nearest Airport: Hyderabad (216kms.)
