| Hindi WordNet was developed by researchers at the Center for Indian Language Technology, Computer Science and Engineering Department, IIT Bombay. Wordnets are systems for analyzing the different lexical and semantic
relations between words. Specifically, a wordnet is a word sense network
in which words are grouped into semantically equivalent units called
synsets. Each synset represents a lexical concept, and synsets are
linked to each other by semantic relations (between synsets) and lexical
relations (between words). Similar in design to the Princeton Wordnet

Towards the Next Generation Web, CSE, IITB brings forth Aayaam, a technical symposium on SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) and Semantic Web. The Web as we have known it has been undergoing tremendous ferment over the last few years. The lack of a functional view of the web has spawned web services and the lack of meaning lead to the emergence of the Semantic Web. The evolution of these technologies allow sharing of computational power and has enabled development of modular, integrated, complex but user friendly web. We bring together experts across the country from industry and academia working in the field of SOA and semantic web to provide an integrated view of their experiences and research. Focus Areas
