Course Description

This is an introductory course in Computer Networking, thus mainly, the basics will be covered. Our approach is "top-down" in our learning of the various layers of Computer Networks. We will closely follow the book "Computer Networking: A Top Down Approach Featuring the Internet", by Kurose and Ross. We will also often refer to Peterson and Davie's "Computer Networking, A Systems Approach" for some additional insights. We will start with the Application Layer, go down to Transport Layer then Network Layer (Routing), then Link Layer and LANs.
