Incomplete list of Prolog Resources

Collected here are various pointers to online material on Prolog and Logic Programming that may be useful for this course. This list is very incomplete and suggestions for more listings welcome.

A very good text book "Logic, Programming and Prolog" by Ulf Nilsson and Jan Maluszynski. Second Edition. ISBN 0-471-95996-0. Wiley, is no longer in print. It is instead available for free download on the web. It is not recommended that you print out the book. You will only need some parts which can be easily read online.

CSE and IIT Library has the following book with many useful programming examples: The Art of Prolog, second Edition, by Leon Sterling and Ehud Shapiro. ISBN 0-262-19338-8. Program examples from the book are available online in the ArtOfProlog directory.

Some useful online tutorials on prolog are available at

There are many more courses and lecture material on Prolog (use Google search) and if you find any useful ones let us know.

More links will be added here soon on the theory of Logic Programming which we will be covering in the course later.
