• 14th Feb 2012: Paper “Holistic Optimization by Prefetching Query Results” accepted for SIGMOD 2012
• 20th Jan 2012: Won the PhD poster presentation session at Microsoft Research TechVista 2012.
• 19th Dec to 21st Dec 2011: Attended COMAD 2011 at IIIT Bangalore. Demoed DBridge and presented our ICDE 2011 paper in the premiere Indian papers track.
• 29th August to 1st Sep 2011: Attended VLDB 2011 at Seattle.
• 25th and 26th August 2011: Attended the Yahoo Key Scientific Challenges Graduate Student Summit at Santa Clara. Presented a poster of our work. Received the KSC Award.
• 12th July 2011: An article about our work published in MIT’s Technology Review magazine, India edition. July.
• 26th May 2011: Received the MSR fellowship award from Steve Ballmer at IIT Delhi’s Golden Jubilee Lecture, along with 5 other awardees.
• 19th May 2011: Awarded the Microsoft Research India PhD fellowship
