  International flights land at Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport(Sahar Airport) which is about 7 kms from IIT. The Domestic Airport- SantaCruz is about 10 kms.   Trains comming from different places stops at Thane, Kurla(Lokamanya tilak), and Dadar and CST(M). The nearest Railway station to the institute is Kanjur Marg which is in the central line. The stations from Thane to Dadar are as follows. Thane, Mulund, Bhandup, Kanjurmarg, Vikroli, Ghatkopar, Vidya Vihar, Kurla, Sion, Matunga, Dadar. From Kanjur Marg one can hire an auto rikshaw, which costs approximately 25Rs.
