Instructions For IITB Students
For Ph.D. Students:For M.Tech. Students:
Prospective M.Tech. students can see the details about the admission procedure followed by CSE@IITB here.
The following courses are offered in the area of Computer Graphics by the department:
- CS675: Computer Graphics (in the odd semester)
- CS775: Advanced Computer Graphics (in the even semester)
Doing CS675 is mandatory for all students who want to work in computer graphics. You can follow the following two routes leading to a MTP in computer graphics.
- Take up CS675 and a Seminar with me in your first semester.
- Take up CS775 in your second semester.
- Ideally, start your MTP also in your second semester.
or

Note that all follow-up seminars and MTPs depend on your performance in the previous course/seminar. Only students who take up a seminar in their first semester are exempt from this - i.e., they do not have to satisfy any pre-requisite criteria except for a very high level of interest in graphics.
Please feel free to email/meet me for more information.
For B.Tech./D.D. Students:
The following courses are offered in the area of Computer Graphics by the department:
- CS475/CS675: Computer Graphics (in the odd semesters)
- CS775: Advanced Computer Graphics (in the even semesters)
Usually you should have done both these courses to do a BTP/DDP with me. For more information regarding topics, eligibility, etc., please meet/email me.
