The Glasgow Aneurysm Score

If it were not for the word Aneurysm, I would not blame you if you thought this was the name of some musical score.

While one does not see doctors whipping out a laptop and doing calculations, this is probably how they evaluate the seriosuness of the aneurysm, whether it is intact or ruptured.

They have various parameters, to which various weightages are given once the patient is examined for symptoms. And what you get is a table of probabilities.

In addition to this Glasgow stuff :

They also have various other Algorythms, like Score of Steyerberg et al ,Risk Factors of Brimacombe and Berry, Classification of Crawford et al, which all basically quantify risks and success probabilities for various procedures.
