Hi, I am Vijay Gabale. Welcome to my home page.

Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. program at Computer Science and Engineering department, IIT Bombay. I am in third year of my research tenure. I hail from Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India.

I completed my M.Tech from CSE, IITB in year 2009.

My major interest areas are Computer Networks, Wireless Network and System Designs and Network Algorithms.

I am working on LO³ project as a part of my research thesis under the guidance of Prof. Bhaskaran Raman and Prof. Kameswari Chebrolu . I am recently awarded the IBM Worldwide fellowship.

The goal of my Ph.D. is not only to learn in the process of doing research but also to have significant contributions in my working domain. Such contributions include identification of the right research problems to solve, effective and efficient solutions to those research problems, writing sound technical research papers, prototyping and production of working systems to deploy on the field for end-users to use it.

My long term goal is to contribute in productive manner to either agriculture or political sector.

My dream is to build an artificial intelligence system J.A.R.V.I.S. and an iron suit like Iron Man.
