Halvergate Halvergate is a village ( population 468 ) north of Reedham in the English county of Norfolk , halfway between the Rivers Bure and Yare , within The Broads National Park . The long distance footpath named the Weaver 's Way passes through Halvergate , and this provides one of the few modes of access to Berney Arms village , railway station and mill . To the east of the village are the Halvergate Marshes . The village has a football team Halvergate United which plays in the Anglian Combination Premier Division .
