Jure Robič Jure Robič ( 1965 - ) is a Slovenian cyclist and soldier in the Slovenian Army . On September 19 , 2004 , Jure broke the world 24 hour road record by cycling 834.77 km ( 518.70 miles ) . He won the Race Across America in 2004 and 2005 .
