Crowdfunding websites are becoming increasingly important for organizations supporting world causes. Take for example Olivia Harrison’s plea to help the US Fund for UNICEF, a cause close to her heart. Olivia Harrison’s late husband, George Harrison, was a former member of the Beatles. Harrison was in charge of organizing the first of many grand scale benefit concerts featuring multiple artists. The concert, held in 1971, was given to help the people of Bangladesh after Tropical Cyclone Nora hit the area formerly known as East Pakistan. The Cyclone, in addition to the ongoing War of Liberation, devastated the country and more than 500,000 people lost their lives. Nora is still considered to be one of the worst natural disasters in history.

Olivia Harrison was joined in Bangladesh by US Fund for UNICEF CEO Caryl Stern. Stern and Harrison continue to raise awareness about natural disasters such as the one caused by Nora. It was important for Harrison and Stern to revisit the site and to recall the event with fond memories.

Crowdfunding Websites Help Out

While many people cannot simply leave their lives behind and head to the site of a natural disaster and help, it is quite easy to participate in a crowdfunding charity to help those left behind. Crowdfunding websites simply involve a group of people making individual or small donations to a charity. UNICEF, like many charities, offers people the opportunity to donate online and give to charity regardless of the dollar amount.

Micro donations are being provided by The Bath Half Marathon supporters. Fearne Cotton, UK radio and TV personality, is scheduled to run the Bath Half Marathon in March, with the aim of raising money for CoppaFeel, a breast cancer charity.

CoppaFeel is one of many cancer micro charity organizations that support education, awareness, and testing for the disease. Donations can be made online to encourage crowdfunding, the act of pooling small resources to make a big impact.

Cotton will compete in support of CoppaFeel, a charitable organization founded by 24 year-old Kristin Hallenga. Hallenga was misdiagnosed two times by doctors before learning that she had an advanced stage of breast cancer.

Cotton says about Kris: “She is one of the most inspirational and brave people I have ever met. Whilst fighting an incredibly brave battle of her own, Kris set about making it her mission to educate young women on the importance of checking their boobs regularly and knowing the signs and symptoms of breast cancer.”

Marathon Micro Donations

This year the Bath Half Marathon celebrates its 30th anniversary. It continues to be one of the most admired city center events throughout the UK. Last year that charity raised over £1.3 million ($2 million).

Nearly 100 people are expected to participate in the event on March 6. More information on micro donations can be found on the charity’s website.

Hunger Relief Organizations: it is easy to forget that there is hunger in the world when our plates are full. Often it takes a major disaster to realize that other people are in fact suffering in parts of the world. Various celebrities and world government officials have banded together to ask for support for the people affected by the earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand. President Barack Obama, Prince William, and Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson, are just a few of the celebrities who are asking people to reach out and help the survivors of the tragedy. At present, many of the people in Christchurch are being housed in shelters where supplies are scarce.

Hunger Relief Charities – How They Can Help

Many relief organizations dedicated to hunger relief are on the move to help the survivors deal with the insurmountable losses surrounding the earthquake. Two of the charities working to help victims are RedCross.org.nz and SalvationArmy.org.nz.

Following the earthquake, various volunteer opportunities have become available and even Google has set up a website to help those in Christchurch.

Prime Minister John Key said: “Many people have lost their lives. Families have lost their cherished loved ones. Mates have lost their mates. Though lost lives will never be replaced, and though your city will never look the same, you will rebuild your city, you will rebuild your lives, you will overcome.”

Hunger relief organizations will help provide support to victims of the earthquake. Hopefully much of the world will follow suit.

A series of benefit concerts to help poor people this week in Namibia are being headlined by British band UB40. A reggae band who formed in Birmingham, England in the late 1970s, UB40 are best known for hit singles like “Red Red Wine” and “I Can’t Help Falling in Love.” The band is scheduled to perform three shows during three nights throughout the British countryside. Also entertaining will be some of South Africa’s most popular artists. The event, which will begin on February 24, is called “UB40 For Hope.” Funds raised by the concerts will benefit Hope Village Namibia.

Vision to Help Those in Need

Hope Village Namibia is a non-profit organization not affiliated with the South African government. The vision and inspiration for helping poor people came to its founder Marietjie de Klerk in a dream. According to the charity’s website: “Hope Village was started by Marietjie de Klerk in 2004 as a result of a dream that formed her heart after working with Mother Theresa in Calcutta and seeking the multitude of orphaned children in Namibia.

“About 200,000 children are orphaned by HIV/AIDS and the number is growing daily. This is the biggest tragedy in the history of Namibia. But we refuse to be stunned into passivity by this silent killer.”

The program can be seen as one of the most effective disaster relief organizations in South Africa, offering help, love and support to people in need in the poverty stricken country. This type of care also provides much needed funding for emergency financial assistance such as medical care.

If you would like to help poor people, consider registering with Microgiving.com today and give financial assistance to someone in need.

Incorporating a micro loan program is one of the most effective and affordable ways to support a charity. In addition to online donations given by supporters, recipients may receive financial assistance to help them get back on their feet. Another term for this type of program is crowd funding, which simply means that the program relies on support from many sources rather than a few large contributors.

Oxfam’s Micro Loan Program

Oxfam, a well known charity, is one such program that helps people to combat poverty by dedicating funds to specific areas while only a very small percentage of each donation goes to training and operating costs.

The most recent charity event held by Oxfam was a kick off to a month-long program where 100% of all donations went directly to a charity. Oxfam is determined to show that 100% giving is possible and aims to make it more common throughout charitable organizations.

The first event involved wallets being donated by various celebrities and fashionistas, including popular band The Hoosiers, along with Daisy Lowe, Edith Bowman and Gizzi Erskine. Each wallet includes a ‘purse-onal’ message or item from the celebrity.

Some of the items include:

Gizzi Erskine: Miu Miu cardholder

Daisy Lowe: sequined purse by Lulu Guinness

Nick Hewer (The Apprentice): Black leather card holder

Edith Bowman: Vintage coin purse

Pearl Lowe: Green Vivienne Westwood wallet

The Hoosiers: Well traveled leather wallets

Levi Roots: Black wallet with leather dividers

Martin Lewis: Wallet with lock and chain

The number of charitable organizations adopting a micro loan program is rapidly growing and looks set to only continue.

Charity Donations: Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton and other special guests will be performing at an upcoming charity event celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Bunbury Celebrity Cricket Team. Funds raised at the event will benefit the AF Foundation as well as the English School’s Cricket Association and Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Centre for alcohol and drug dependency. The AF Foundation raises monies to develop and maintain child rehabilitation and physiotherapy facilities throughout the UK, helping poor people that may not be eligible for care otherwise.

The event will be hosted by British impressionist Rory Bremner and will take place in London at the Grosvenor House Hotel’s Great Room on May 7, 2011. Special guests include ex British politician Jeffrey Archer and journalist Jonny Gould.

Donations Needed

Drawing in charity donations, including online donations, is vital to the success of the event. This year’s event, entitled Bunbury’s Big 25th Birthday Ball, has the chance of being more successful than in previous years. The organization consists of a conglomeration of groups, allowing for more donations as it negates the need for supporters of each charity to be approached individually. The event also allows people to take part in micro credit giving.

Other famous guests include the victorious England cricket Ashes squad of 2010/11. The charity was founded by Sir David English 35 years ago. To date, the Bunbury Celebrity Cricket club has raised more than £12 million ($19.45 million) from various charity donations over the last 25 years.

It is not uncommon for humanitarian relief organizations to band together to raise awareness about particular situations worldwide. That is just what happened when Girls Aloud vocalist Sarah Harding visited Africa to support Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day. Comic Relief is a well known for being one of the top celebrity disaster relief organizations in the world. The charity was founded in 1986 and is represented by such famous comedians as Whoopi Goldberg, Billy Crystal and Robin Williams. The charity is dedicated to helping poor people around the world, mostly in the form of disaster relief and helping to make the world a more livable place.

Helping Africa’s Humanitarian Relief Organizations

There are many worthwhile relief organizations throughout Africa. Harding, who had previously dropped out of a climb up Mount Kilimanjaro due to back problems, visited mothers2mothers located in Cape Town. Mothers2mothers is an organization that offers a sustainable model of care targeted toward providing education and support for new mothers and pregnant women living with HIV.

“I’ve supported Comic Relief for many years, so when the opportunity came up to visit a project with British Airways I was keen to go. But having never visited Cape Town, or a township, I didn’t know what to expect. I was told about the poverty here but to be truly passionate about it I had to see it with my own eyes and talk to the people about it.”

Harding, eager to serve humanitarian relief organizations, also says that despite the difficult conditions, she left the country feeling uplifted and hopeful.

There are many companies that have developed volunteering opportunities to help people in various ways, including making direct donations or giving time to help with causes. In the case of TOMS Shoes, the company donates one pair of shoes to children in need for every pair sold. The concept has been so popular and successful that Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen have decided to team up with TOMS Shoes to create a line of footwear specific to children. The young actresses rocketed to widespread fame and popularity during their stint on the Full House sitcom. The newly Olsen Twin-embraced line, called The Row, is going to be linked to TOMS Shoes’ One for One program, an ongoing campaign since the company was founded in 2006. TOMS Shoes founder Blake Mycoskie wanted to start a program that would create volunteering opportunities and positive change by giving away one pair of shoes at a time, which shows that even the smallest donation can make a very big difference.

Volunteering Opportunities Through Buying Shoes

How does buying shoes equal the same kind of charity as it would if one would make a donation? It’s easy. The program allows consumers to a part of something bigger, transforming shoppers into benefactors of the less fortunate.

“We feel it’s really important to spread awareness of the Toms One for One mission,” said Ashley Olsen. “For every pair of TOMS + The Row shoes sold, a child in need will receive a new pair of shoes. TOMS + The Row customers will have the ability to give back and create change with a single purchase.”

The new program will help to make it even easier for consumers to find volunteering opportunities when they might otherwise be unable to help.

Tough economic times have helped to make microlending one of the world’s leading trends. Microlending is a system in which specific lenders extend credit with the aim of allowing people to start businesses and help to end the vicious circle of poverty. The lenders give credit to help poor people get back on their feet, despite the obvious risk.

Microlending Organizations

Some of the world’s most well-known microlending organizations and celebrities have joined the movement, including the United Colors of Benetton and entrepreneur Richard Branson.

The global movement started by Benetton supports people in Senegal via Birima, a microlending program. Branson expanded his own efforts to help when he acquired Circle Lending, a Massachusetts lender which has since been renamed Virgin Money. Branson will continue to expand his programs in the future.

Virgin Money works as a third-party broker, developing agreements between borrowers and their sources, which are typically friends and family members. It is common for people to borrow funds from friends and family when starting a business. Virgin Money hopes to make the loans formal contracts to relieve the stress in the relationships. The contract between the borrower and the funding sources will entail specific terms and also establish a repayment plan. Branson will also match the funds to ensure that the business has ample capital to start up and to help it succeed.

The microlending process relies on established credit and will also help the business establish credit as it grows making the process self perpetuating.

Leading the way in how to help people around the world, on February 11, UNICEF honored two people for their outstanding service and efforts. UNICEF Representative Carrie Auer and Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini were honored for their contributions in helping toward UNICEF’s mission to save the lives of children worldwide.

The awards were held at the inaugural Women of Compassion Luncheon. Jennifer Lopez, actress, singer and UNICEF advocate, presented Giannini with the special award.

The event was held at the home of Bradley and Colleen Bell. Also in attendance at the celebrity charity event were Honorary Chair Mary J. Blige, Camilla Belle, Marc Anthony, and Paz Vega. Honorary Chairs also included Rihanna and Madonna.

Helping People The UNICEF Way

UNICEF is well known for being one of the world’s most active, non-profit relief organizations. The organization shows supporters the best way of helping poor people, particularly girls and women, and to improve the lives of children. These children typically live in underdeveloped countries where there is little or no food, clean water, or medical care. UNICEF believes that women and girls tend to be the best advocates for children, regardless of their location.

Because women have stepped forward to become the leading philanthropists in support of UNICEF’s work, the US Fund for UNICEF created the Women of Compassion Award. The award is designed to celebrate the accomplishments that have been made toward improving children’s lives. All of the proceeds collected at the UNICEF Women of Compassion luncheon will be directed toward the US Fund for UNICEF.

Non-Profit Charity Organizations News: The cast for the new season of “Celebrity Apprentice” has just been announced. Like the regular TV show, participants compete to see who will become Donald Trump’s new apprentice, although the title is honorary. Unlike the regular show, celebs will compete for money to give to their favorite charities. In the past, contestants have supported many charity organizations including groups that battle autism, diabetes, and heart disease. Others may focus more on disaster relief organizations or those that provide emergency financial assistance for people in dire need.

Gary Busey supports Charity Organizations

A main focus of this season’s Celebrity Apprentice is the appearance of actor Gary Busey. Busey was severely injured in 1988 when he crashed his motorcycle while not wearing a helmet. The crash resulted in a fractured skull for Busey as well as irreparable brain injury which led to a coma. Ever since his recovery, Busey has donated his time and resources to raising awareness through The Center for Head Injury Services. This organization is a non-profit designed to help people that have suffered from a brain injury or have some type of cognitive disability. The program gives treatment to and helps to retrain the brains of victims so that they may develop healthier and more productive lives.

Other non profit charity organizations supported by the cast of the TV show include: AIDS Project LA, Twisted Hearts Foundation, American Red Cross, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Jose Canseco’s B.A.T. (Baseball Assistance Team), and The East Harlem School at Exodus House.

A stellar gathering of musicians and comedians will make charitable donations through appearances in several shows in March for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Roger Daltrey, frontman of the band The Who and longtime supporter of the Teenage Cancer Trust, seems as excited as ever about this year’s lineup. This event will take place over seven days at the end of March, beginning on March 21st with a performance by Liverpudlian stand-up comedian John Bishop, TV regulars Greg Davies and Kevin Bridges, plus many special guests. Donations will be accepted all week through select donation tents and booths.

Other acts stepping up to give to charity include 80s rock band Squeeze, Liam Gallagher of Oasis, Editors, and longtime supporters of various charity organizations, the Foo Fighters.

Charitable Donations To Result from Music and Comedy Gigs

Roger Daltrey CBE, a patron of the Trust, commented on the importance of charitable donations and micro charity: “These gigs have raised nearly £10 million in 10 years and they make a real difference to the lives of thousands of young people with cancer. We’ve had both legends and rising stars play for Teenage Cancer Trust over the years and 2011 is no different. I’m truly grateful to everyone for their support.”

Trust CEO Simon Davies echoes Daltrey’s thoughts on the importance of donations: “Music plays a huge role in most young people’s lives, whatever they are going through, and it’s a big part of Teenage Cancer Trust. We’re immensely proud of these gigs which help us raise the money we need to give young people with cancer access to the best possible care and professional support.”

People are encouraged to support the online charity through donations or by purchasing tickets. Those that cannot attend are asked to make charitable donations to combat teenage cancer.

Actress, Cheryl Hines is asking people to make a donation to a charity that has become close to her heart. The spokesperson for the Go Red for Women movement, Hines, who is famous for her role on Larry David’s hit show “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” has realized how important it is to raise awareness and support for the number one killer of women in America – heart disease. Hines kicked off a campaign for the charity in New York where she appeared on the Today Show to talk about her new position in the organization. According to Hines, she only became fully informed about heart disease after her father suffered a major heart attack. Hines’ father survived but it was clear that changes needed to be made. Since then, Hines has dedicated her time striving to help people learn about this dreaded and often preventable disease.

Donate Today!

Go Red for Women is just like every charity in that it needs funding to support its work. People that donate online can certainly make a difference, and there are also volunteer opportunities to help spread the word. The organization can teach volunteers how to help people with their battle against heart disease. Minor changes in diet and exercise can make all the difference, as can giving up smoking, alcohol and other harmful substances. Hines talks about her father’s conviction to stop smoking after his open heart surgery, saying that it’s worth giving up any habit in order to live.

To make a donation, click on the link or go to the Go Red for Women movement website.

On February 10th, The Women’s Cancer Research Fund will celebrate its 15th anniversary, with online charities showing their support. This year, comedian and talk show host Conan O’Brien will take the stage as the host of “An Unforgettable Evening,” an event that raises support and awareness for the Women’s Cancer Research Fund sponsored by the Entertainment Industry Foundation. This is not O’Brien’s first job as host for a charity; he has also supported Autism Speaks, the Fresh Air Fund and other programs.

Online Charities Bring People Together

The main focus of this online charity is to support research for innovative treatments for cancer, such as the Breast Cancer Biomarker Discovery Project, a program that hopes to develop a blood test that will identify biomarkers. The identification may help to increase the accuracy of early breast cancer detection and treat the cancer at its earliest possible stages, giving more hope for a cure and a higher survival rate. In addition to the biomarker project, the Women’s Cancer Research Fund is also supporting research efforts being conducted at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), the UCLA Johnson Comprehensive Cancer Center and the USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. Supporters are encouraged to make micro loans to help the cause.

Comedian Martin Short will be presented with the 2011 Courage Award as a representative of his wife Nancy Short, who lost her battle with cancer last year. Actress Annette Bening will be presented with the Nat King Cole Award for her contributions to online charities and efforts to help people in need.

Several notable stars have banded together to help Haiti through an online charity donation program. On February 11, a group of famous philanthropists will gather together to celebrate the efforts of humanitarian Sean Penn and raise awareness about the dire situation in Haiti. The Toast to Celebrate and Help Haiti Event will be held at New York’s Urban Zen Center. On the guest list are Eddie Murphy, Ben Stiller, Russell Simmons, Donna Karan, Brett Ratner, Andres Balazs and Andre Harrell. The proceeds raised by the event will be split between Sean Penn’s J/P Haitian Relief Organization and Ben Stiller’s Stillerstrong Foundation.

Making an Online Donation to Charity

Those wishing to make an online donation may do so through either charity’s website. Stiller also works with Save the Children, an organization devoted to creating permanent change in the lives of children in need.

Donations will support the ongoing effort to build classrooms, hire teachers and provide school supplies. The funds will also support the efforts of local farmers and to establish a clean water supply.

The J/P Haitian Relief Organization works in a similar way, although it tends to focus more on emergency financial assistance. The organization was founded to help support hospitals and community organizations. Like Stillerstrong, J/P HRO also works with government bodies as well as other disaster relief organizations.

Those willing to donate can be assured that their contributions go directly to the people in need. In order to make an online charity donation, go to the charities website or click on the supplied link.

Cyndi Lauper is a singer and actress who wants to help people through her True Colors Foundation. The TCF, founded by Lauper, is designed to educate people about and raise awareness for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) equality. Lauper has been very outspoken about her beliefs in equality for all, and the foundation also serves as a support system for friends and families of GLBT.

This year, Lauper has found a new way to help people by increasing funds and support for the TCF, which was founded in 2008. Lauper has planned the True Colors Winter Charity Auction. People will be able to buy, via auction, an extensive number of items, memorabilia and event days by bidding through the online charity. The list of supporters is long. Some of the people included in the event are Tori Amos, Michael Stipe, Lady Gaga, U2, Dolly Parton, Jason Mraz, Ricky Martin, Sarah Silverman, Clay Aiken, David Gray, Carson Kressley, and Rosie O’Donnell.

How Charity Auctions Help People

It may seem somewhat self-serving to buy things for oneself and claim that it is for charity. However, in this case, it truly is. Cyndi Lauper is well known for her service to the community, and by rallying this amazing group of stars, TCF is able to use the funds raised to end bias against people in the GLBT community.

Those who wish to bid or donate online will definitely contribute to the TCF in more ways than one while helping the TCF to help people in need.

When it comes to emergency financial assistance and charity organizations, Sir Elton John is at the top. The Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) has been in action for almost twenty years and has raised millions of dollars for the AIDS/HIV cause. The EJAF has just confirmed that its Awards Viewing Party will be held for the 19th year, and this year’s hosts will be Elton John and David Furnish. The event will take place on February 27, 2011, at Los Angeles’ Pacific Design Center, and festivities will begin with a cocktail hour at 4:00 PM, followed by an elaborate dinner and then the main event: the Oscars. This year’s meal will be prepared by James Beard Foundation winner Chef Ludo Lefebvre.

Online donations are gratefully accepted by EJAF and will serve to work toward a cure for HIV/AIDS. Sir Elton said he would hold the event every year until a cure was found for the deadly disease. Sir Elton has held up his end of the deal and is routinely supported by the biggest stars in the world, including many Hollywood legends.

Over $125 Million Raised for Emergency Assistance

Since Sir Elton founded the organization in 1993, EJAF has managed to raise over $125 million. The monies have been used to educate and help people living with HIV/AIDS and to eliminate prejudice throughout 55 countries.

“2011 marks the 30th year since the disease we have come to know as HIV/AIDS was first observed by physicians in American patients,” said Sir Elton.

EJAF has proven itself to be one of the largest and most successful charity organizations providing emergency financial assistance on the planet.

Micro Loans News: Annie Lennox, the extraordinary pop diva, has issued a call to give to charity. In 2008 Lennox was awarded the British Red Cross Services to Humanity Award for her work in raising awareness of Africa’s HIV/AIDS epidemic. Lennox has also worked with Greenpeace, Amnesty International, and Nelson Mandela’s 46664 Foundation.

Earlier this year Lennox released a compilation single titled “Sing” with the intent of raising awareness of Aids in Africa. Proceeds from the song recorded by Lennox and 23 other female singers went to the Treatment Action Campaign. The 23 female singers included Faith Hill, Pink, and Madonna.

On March 8, 2011, Lennox will join Oxfam and supporters from around the world to celebrate International Women’s Day. Lennox has proven time and again that she is a very strong woman; as are the others that have formed “The Circle,” a group that works in helping poor people, to raise awareness, fight inequality and give a voice to those in need.

Lennox Happy To Donate Micro Loans Via Cyberspace

Lennox promotes what she likes to call “Laptop Activism.” Lennox runs many of her charities through the internet. Anyone, any place can donate online to help treat and prevent AIDS. Currently one-third of the pregnant women in Africa are HIV positive.

What kinds of activities are suggested for March 8? Anything will do – a party, dinner, fundraising or awareness event. A fun way to help is to educate your guests about micro loans or the various volunteer opportunities available online.

Micro Credit News: Boy George has chosen to speak out about his charity, Hep Trust, an organization that educates and assists people with Hepatitis C, a highly infectious disease. The Hep Trust is designed to help people deal with the disease as well as the stigma attached. Hepatitis is frequently – and wrongly – related to drugs users. While drugs users may contract Hepatitis C, it is certainly not an exclusive relationship.

Recent statistics show that there are 250,000 – 500,000 people infected with the disease in the UK, however only an approximate around 90,000 have been properly diagnosed.

TV Show Requests Micro Credit Donations

George went on a popular UK morning TV show to explain his cause and ask people to donate online: “I have just done this exhibition for the Hep Trust, which is a charity. Apparently 75 per cent of people that have it don’t know they have it.”

The 1980s pop icon is referring to an art exhibit that is scheduled to be auctioned off in March. Various people will appear in portraits dressed as well known celebrities. For example, Paloma Faith will appear as Boy George and Sadie Frost will appear as Madonna.

People interested in assisting the Hep Trust can also donate online.

Micro Credit Opportunities

The charity was founded in 2001 to act as an advocate for people with Hepatitis C. Previously, the disease was not one frequently talked about because of the stigma attached to it. The Hep Trust is an organization operated entirely by present and former patients with the disease. Staff consists of both paid and volunteer workers. Raising awareness for the organization also includes getting involved with micro credit.

It is not surprising to learn that online charity is becoming increasingly popular among non-profit organizations. Typically, non-profit organizations raise money by holding a variety of fundraisers, sending out pledges and follow up letters, creating marketing materials and depending on large grants from various sources, including government help, corporate sponsorship and private contributors. Fundraising can be a difficult and tedious job. It can also take funds away from more worthwhile projects. The expense and amount of labor required is expensive and the return is often not worth the effort. That is why online charities have become so popular in recent years.

Social Media Befriends Online Charity

Using a charity site to give to charity offers many benefits to both the individuals donating and the organizations receiving the funds. Non-profits love online giving for a number of reasons. The faltering economy has hit everyone hard – including the corporate and individual sponsors that so generously support the causes. Smaller donations are also effected, leaving the non-profit at a bigger loss than it is equipped to handle. By using online charities, non-profits have the opportunity to raise much needed funds without all of the labor and marketing costs. People can go to the non-profit’s website or link to the site directly through social media connections like Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter. The process is very easy and in addition it makes spreading the word even easier. People can share the information and donate online to the online charity of their choice with just the click of a mouse button.
