document.write("I was part of the Irish troupe that endured the World's most expensive stadium tour on Saturday night. It was all very surreal and I received news of the cancellation by phone a full 20 minutes before it was officially announced in the stadium (now affectionately known as Stade de Farce).

Nobody knows if we'll get our tickets refunded. Sadly not one person I spoke with will be able to make the return trip due to the costs already incurred.

I was on the same flight home as Christine Connolly yesterday who drew some dagger looks from Tony Ward sitting a few rows in front.

Spare a thought for a few friends of mine who drove through the night from Gdansk in northern Poland to catch a morning flight from Warsaw to Paris!

Will lessons be learned from all this? I believe the 6 Nations organisation committee should organise an insurance scheme whereby away fans tickets include a reasonably priced insurance premium to cover flights and hotels (up to a reasonable level) in the event of such an unusual occurrance.

Spare a thought for a lot of French fans too. After all, the rugby heartland is a long way south of Paris!. McGeebers");

document.write("Not sure if the IRB should be blamed for this mess but certainly the 6 Nations Committy as they are the organizers of the tournament. The FFR had no decision making there, and for information the FFR cancelled all the games planned that weekend in the lower division, some Top14 games have also been cancelled.
I still don;t know why the game couldn't be played Sat early afternoon, the FFR requested that.

Yet it's a blurry situation as why the call has been so late. And even more as when the game will be played. For example Guy Noves (Toulouse coach) wants the game to be played once the Top 14 is over, in June. In France the internationals are not the \"property of the federation but their clubs. if the game is played on March the 2nd, 3rd...the clubs will be furious and would have to play w/out their stars. That weekend Toulouse plays against Clermont.

Even the Stadium is not owned by the FFR! That's another actor in this drama. I was shocked by the fact that this modern stadium has not heating system on the ground...anyway the FFr has a (pricey) contract with the Stade de France until a owned stadium is built in...2017

Bring on the Irish! We'll trash them in June!! Hahaha. Anthony");
