Keith cruised to victory with two goals in each half making it a miserable debut for Michael Rae and David Macdonald who started their first games since joining almost a month ago.

There was controversy in the 14th minute as Keith took the lead from the penalty spot. A corner from the left was swung into the area and the unfortunate Steven Sim was penalised when he played the ball with his arm, although whether or not it was intentional was unclear. Barrie Stephen was not about to show any sympathy as he
despatched the spot kick beyond debutant Michael Rae with aplomb.

The visitors doubled their advantage shortly after the half hour mark with a textbook training ground set piece. The Keith attackers dragged the defence into the box and Darren Still played the ball directly out to the edge of the box from the corner where Wayne Mackay was waiting to drill the ball low into the back of the net.

Shawn Scott showed some fighting spirit at the other end, picking up the ball wide on the right and cutting inside before bringing out a fine save from Andy Shearer who was at full strength to tip the ball around the post.

Lossie's best chance of the half came five minutes before the break and once again Shawn Scott was the man causing the problems and his cross was well met by Daniel Ford who bulleted a header off the post before it was cleared to safety.

Half time - Lossiemouth 0

The teams took a while to heat themselves up again in the second period and the fans had to wait until the 67th minute for the first opening and when it came it was Keith's Derek Nicol who squandered it. The former HFL Player of the Year was clean through with only Michael Rae to beat but he fired the ball wide of the target.

Three minutes later Steven Ellis put Daniel Ford clear but the big striker's luck was clearly out as he struck the woodwork for the second time this afternoon. His cheeky lob rebounding back off the bar to the relief of Andy Shearer.

Keith put the game beyond doubt in the 77th minute when Dean Donaldson's cross from the right saw Barrie Stephen rise above the Lossie defence to deftly direct his header into the bottom corner from 6 yards out.

It was four just minutes later when Darren Still released youngster Stuart Walker and he should great composure to place the ball into the bottom left hand corner of the net with the aid of the inside of the post.
