Title: SOA Reference Architecture and Modeling Methodologies
Dr. N. C. Narendra, IBM India Research Lab, Bangalore
Date & Time: October 13, 2008 15:30
Venue: SIC 205, ā€˜Cā€™ Block, 02nd floor, Kanwal Rekhi Bldg.
Abstract:
Building and maintaining SOA-based solutions is a complex task. Several aspects need to be considered, viz., process design, service design, middleware design, translation of service design into code, etc. Additionally, several non-functional characteristics such as quality, reliability and performance also need to be taken into account. In this talk, I will present IBM's SOA Reference Architecture. This architecture is realizable via IBM's Service Oriented Modeling and Architecture (SOMA) methodology for developing and maintaining SOA-based solutions, which will also be discussed during the talk.
