We consider the problem of searching in live, time-stamped and geolocated document collections. As the number and size of such data collections increase, the problem of efficiently indexing and searching becomes more important. We present novel approaches for keyword search and for event discovery in this space. We also describe applications of such techniques in the emergency response domain.
