Call For Papers

The Eighth Indian Conference on Computer Vision, Graphics and Image Processing (ICVGIP) will be held in Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India from 16 to 19 December, 2012, in association with the Indian Unit for Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence (IUPRAI). Papers in the main technical program must describe high-quality, original research. Topics of interest include all aspects of computer vision, computer graphics and image processing, but not limited to:

In submitting a manuscript to ICVGIP, authors acknowledge that no paper substantially similar in content has been or will be submitted to another journal, or conference or workshop during the review period. In such a case the paper will be rejected without review.

Reviewing will be double-blind.Paper submissions will be handled electronically via Microsoft CMT portal. Proceedings will be published in digital archives of ACM. Extended versions of selected papers will be published in a special issue of high-impact journals. (ICVGIP 2010 had selected papers published with additional content in The Visual Computer.) In addition to the main single track technical program, there will be Tutorials, Workshops, Graduate Student Symposium and Industrial Exhibits.
