Hey there, I am Andrea Furtado.

About me

I was born and brought up in Vasai which is famous for Bassein Fort(a simple google search will tell you more about it). I did my schooling from Vasai istelf and my B.E from Mumbai University. After my graduation I joined e-Yantra which is a project hosted in IIT Bombay. And now, I am pursuing my Masters here at IIT Bombay. Getting admission into IIT B was dream come true and I am pretty sure, journey here is going to be an adventure.

My interests are in Automation, ML and robotics. Few more will be added to this list in near future. The boundaries of interests keep growing... into the unknown.

As for what I want to do is "Build cool stuff". Pretty vague descritpion. I know. But it is what it is.

I'll leave the intro to that. Let's meet over a cup of chai in the campus when we get to it.

Here is my favourite scene from the movie Zootopia. Having a sloth character named "Flash" ha ha ha. Just brillant!

Hobbies

Reading

I like reading thrillers, mysteries, science-fiction and even encylopedia.

Painting and drawing

Feels like I used to paint ages ago. Have'nt got to it recently. But it was good outlet for my imagination.

Gardening

If I hadn't done Engineering, I would have been botanist for sure.

Puzzles

I like solving Sudoku the most. Don't like crosswords.

Watching series

I watch series on Netflix these days. I binge watch anime if I get time.You should watch Haikyu if you havent seen it.

Music

I listen to music frequently and sometimes while working. I don't exactly have a favourite artist and listen to whatever sounds catchy. Love instrumentals as well
