I am a PhD candidate at the Department of CSE,
IIT Bombay, since Spring 2010. I am working under
the guidance of Prof. Pushpak Bhattacharyya and Prof. Ganesh Ramakrishnan.
Research Interests
I am currently pursuing research in the area of Information Retrieval and Natural Language Processing. My primary research is in the area of cross lingual information retrieval. More about my research can be

In the past
I worked in IBM software labs for an year(2009-2010) and worked as a faculty in an engineering college in Spring 2010.
Research
I am currently pursuing research in the area of cross lingual information retrieval.
The problem of picking 'good' expansion terms from PRF based technique is one of the problems that I am addressing.
Query expansion, Indian language transliteration, Resource constrained crawling are other problems that I am addressing as a part of my research.
In the past
I worked in the area of sensor networks previously.
Energy efficient routing, adaptive mobility, data security are some of the problems that were addressed in this area.
