Bankwalah is a banking software developed by three programmers of IIT Bombay - Ashish Chandra, Anshu Ahirwar and Deepesh Meena under the team name Ransomware. The software is meant to be used by banks to manage customers, employees, daily transactions, balance etc. The bankwalah is capable to store all the information that the banks need for their daily functioning. The software uses complex SQL queries to perform multi-table updates simultaneously on MySQL database.

I am the Web Manager of Insight, the magazine published by IIT Bombay which covers all news, events and activities at the institute. My responsibilities are but not limited to reconstruct the website, to optimize the databases, to write the source code of new microsites for different occasions, to boost SEO and web security, to debug errors and issues. The position offers and demands the knowledge of journalism and extensive use of latest web technologies like PHP, Python and libraries like Bootstrap, Google Charts, Google Maps etc. I have a few Web Convenors working under my guidance to run daily web activities like social media management and content posting.

Sameer Anjaan is the most versatile and famous Bollywood Lyricist. He visited IIT Bombay on October 15, 2017 to held an interactive session. He talked about how he transformed himself from a Banker to a Lyricist. He was very generous and kind with the audience.

Sameer is recognized as the most dynamic lyricist. This man has single handedly written more than 3500 songs. He holds the Guinness World Record of writing the highest number of songs. He has worked with almost every popular singer and music director.

Shraddha Pandit is a very beautiful and famous Bollywood singer known for her powerful and chirpy voice. She visited IIT Bombay to perform on Avenues Nite 2017 on October 29, 2017. She was very kind to pose for a photograph with me.

The OAT (Open Air Theatre) was crowd packed and the energetic performance of Shraddha was outstanding.The singer is famous for Sangharsh, Khoobsurat, Delhi-6, Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, Heroine, Satyagraha, Jazbaa, Bareilly Ki Barfi and many many more.

Dia Mirza is a famous Bollywood actress and also a very active social worker to raise issues of underpriviledged children. The actress visited IIT Bombay on January 21, 2018 to attend Social Fest 2018. She was one of the prominent speaker for the Changemaker Series.

She has given several Bollywood hits including Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Deewaanapan, Shootout at Lokhandwala, Dus Kahaniyaan (Zahir) etc.

The Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade visited IIT Bombay on an invitation to watch AnnProd 2018 on February 9, 2018. The actor was kind enough to grant me a beautiful selfie with him. The actor talked about several memorable moments of his life and his journey to become a successful Bollywood figure.

Shreyas has acted in several Bollywood and Marathi films. His notable performances include Iqbal, Apna Sapna Money Money, Dor, Welcome to Sajjanpur, Om Shanti Om, Joker, Entertainment and films of Golmaal series etc.

Blood donation is an activity after which I truely feel proud of myself. I participated in this blood donation camp organized at IIT Bombay by Hiranandani Hospital on September 23, 2017. The feeling to save a critical life gives satisfaction.

The camp had all instruments and amenities to conveniently collect blood from the donors. The camp started at early noon to late evening.

The camp was very successful and had a large collection in a single day. Although I had donated blood several times but this is the first time that I received a certificate of blood donation with an appreciation.

YMC Champions Cricket Trophy 2017

This is a picture of inter village cricket tournament organized by Young Man Club, Sainthaul (West Champaran, Bihar). The tournament hold between 15-22 December 2017 in which 16 teams participated. The two finalists were Belsandi and Sherpur Sirisiya. Belsandi won the title by thrashing Sherpur Sirisiya in the enthralling final. In this tournament, I carried out the non-stop English Commentary and facilitated the prize distribution ceremony.
