Curriculum Vitae

Hi, I am Dhantu Buragohain. I am a research scholar at Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Bombay and also a part of SYstems and NEtworks Research Group (SYNERG). I work in the broad area of computer systems and networks under the guidance of Prof. Mythili Vutukuru. I am currently working on a new emerging area called Resource Disaggregation. More specifically, my work focuses on Memory Disaggregation and the issues arises in this architecture. Previously I worked a research project fellow in Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati for one and half year in the area of cache optimization for Tiled Chip Multiprocessor.

Area of Interest

I am interested in the broad area of computer systems and networks. To be specific, I am interested in memory and storage systems. I also have inclination towards Virtualization and Cloud Computing.

Past Affiliations

I completed my gradutation in Computer Science and Engineering (2010) from Jorhat Engineering College, Assam. After gradutation I worked in the IT industry for 2 years(2010-2012). Later I joined as a project staff in IIT Guwahati, where I worked for one and half year.
