I hail from Bahadurgarh, a town situated in the state of Haryana, India. I currently stay at the IIT Bombay campus, located in Mumbai.
I like pondering over new mathematical problems and connecting them to my present knowledge. The qualities that I admire the most about Mathematics are ubiquitous structures and the extent of generalizations. Other than doing Mathematics, I love listening to music, playing Table Tennis, and watching thriller and mystery movies.
I am interested in topics related to Complex Analysis, Analytic Number Theory and Transcendental Number Theory. That being said, I do not want to be pigeonholed to very specific topics at this stage of my studies. Having a background in Computer Science, I also have a premature interest in the areas of Probability Theory and theoritical Reinforcement Learning.
Currently, I am undertaking a seminar course in Several Complex Variables under the guidance of Prof. G. K. Srinivasan. Alongside this, I am reading some notes on Ergodic Number Theory by J. Steuding, focusing on application of Birkhoff's individual Ergodic theorem to number theoretic problems.
I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Imin Chen for a research internship at Simon Fraser University in summer 2019. We proved a complete list of Ramanujan type series for 1/π arising from modular curves corresponding to non-compact arithmetic triangle groups.
