About Me

I've always been the kind of person who loves digging into a really tricky problem and figuring it out. That's what led me to IIT Bombay for my M.Tech, especially after hitting AIR 42 in GATE 2025. I'm super into algorithms and machine learning, but what really gets me excited is thinking about how AI can be used in cool ways—like in finance, for online security, or even in the medical field. I'm also fascinated by the idea that a single person could build a massive company (a "unicorn") with the help of AI. It's amazing to think about the possibilities.

My Journey Here

I grew up in a beautiful spot in Himachal Pradesh, right in the Kangra valley near Dharamshala. It’s a pretty peaceful place, and I think it helped shape who I am. I did my schooling at D.A.V. and then went on to NIT Hamirpur for my B.Tech. My time at NIT was awesome; I learned a ton and really started to come into my own, getting ready for bigger things like moving to IIT.

Travel Bucketlist

  • Japan — See cherry blossoms in Kyoto
  • Norway — Chase the Northern Lights from the city of Tromsø
  • Egypt — Stand before the Great Pyramids of Giza
  • Italy — Drive the stunning and scenic Amalfi Coast
  • New Zealand — Cruise through the majestic fjords of Milford Sound

For me, travel is more than just a hobby; it's a fundamental need. I love it for the thrill of disconnecting from the routine and stepping into a world that operates on a different rhythm. It’s the excitement of navigating a city where I don’t speak the language or the peace of standing in a landscape that feels completely untouched. More than anything, travel provides perspective. It teaches me that my own world is just one of many, broadens my understanding of people, and ultimately, helps me understand myself a little better with every journey.

Outside Class

Academics are important, but I'm definitely not all about studying. I love making friends, though I'll admit I can be a bit shy at first. Once you get to know me, I open up pretty quickly. Being from Himachal, I have a huge appreciation for nature, and I love to travel and try new foods whenever I get the chance. Basically, I'm always down for a new adventure.

Sports

Cricket has been a huge part of my life. It's more than just a game to me. I got the chance to play for my college team in a bunch of tournaments, and those memories are some of my absolute favorites. The feeling of being out on the field with my teammates, winning together, and just sharing those moments is something I'll never forget. It taught me a lot about teamwork and just enjoying the ride.
