The Lab. for Intelligent Internet Research is a collaborative venture between the Computer Science and Engineering Department at IIT Bombay and Tata Consultancy Services, through its corporate R&D center Tata Research, Development and Design Centre (TRDDC). Our goal is to develop cutting-edge research ideas into papers, patents and products. We are focusing on how to make the Internet more intelligent in many ways:

• Advanced Web architectures for content-cognizant information dissemination
• Advanced Web architectures to support the spontaneous formation of communities
• Integration between computational linguistics and statistical pattern recognition

The Lab. provides support for faculty, students, and visitors to conduct research in areas relevant to its goal, in the form of a dedicated laboratory with support staff, conference travel, and a partnership towards products and services.
