When I am not studying/working (which is more often than not ;)) or eating or sleeping (which takes up considerable amount of my time :)), I while away my time doing the following things:

    Online Coding

I try and participate in online coding competitions for which I practice on these sites

I like to solve and implement known CS problems in quick time and these sites provide me the opportunity to do so.

    Quizzing

After coming to IITB, I have developed an interest in quizzing. Hence, I like to while away my time by taking part in quzzing competitions either online or offline. The literary club at iitb called "iitblitzkrieg" conducts various quizzes like sports quiz, mythology quiz, solo rexus, general quiz etc generally once in a fortnight. These quizzes have played an important role in me developing an interest in quizzing. I am not a good quizzer but I attend quizzes and like to learn as much as possible.

    Interesting Blogs

When I am not whiling away my time on online coding sites or attending quizzes, I like to read a few interesting blogs which are mentioned below
CSE Blog  :   A very interesting blog which gives out interesting Puzzles every fortnight
rjlipton  :   A very good blog about the latest happenings in theoretical computer science by R.J. Lipton
luca tervisan blog  :   Another good blog about topics in theoretical computer science
Infinite Zounds  :   A daily quiz blog about current affairs by mastermind india winner J.Ramanand
In addition to these blogs some other sites that I visit frequently are:

    Reading

When I am not doing either of the things mentioned above, I like to spend my time reading novels. Some of the books that I have read are as follows:

    Fiction

    Non-Fiction

I am a fan of the late Pu. La Deshpande, fondly known as Pu.La all over Maharashtra. I have also read "tujha aahe tujhpashi", which is widely considered to be a classic. Apart from that I also intend to read "AghalPaghal", " Vyakti Ani Valli". Other books on my "to-read" list include "The Cuckoo's Calling" by Robert Galbraith aka J.K.Rowling, "The Silkworm" by "J.K.Rowling" and "The Casual Vacancy" also by J.K.Rowling, "Thinking Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman.

    Music

I also like to listen to music. I used to learn playing tabla. I have cleared quite a few examinations as well. However playing tabla is currently not on my list due to the hectic schedule here at IITB.
