Fifth National Conference on Object Oriented Technology

The Fifth National Conference on Object Oriented Technology will be held at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University  at Lonere on 9th and 10th August, 2003. The conference is regularly conducted by Forum for Promotion of Object Technology (FPOT). Previous conferences in the NCOOT series were held at Warangal (1997), Pondicherry (1998), Chennai (1999) and Bangalore (2001). The venue is located 120 km south of Mumbai in the scenic western region. Researchers, practitioners, educators and students working in the field of Object Technology are invited to submit their research papers, survey papers or experience reports for discussion at the conference. The broad areas in which contributions are solicited are listed below. Submissions in related areas which are not listed below are also encouraged.

Technical Papers and Posters:

Authors need to submit an electronic version of their papers in postscript/pdf/word format through conference web site or alternatively submit by email to sri@iiit.ac.in.  If a paper is not selected for presentation in regular sessions, it may be considered for poster presentation on the recommendation of program committee.

The Venue

The conference will be hosted by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere. DBATU is located in the picturesque surrounding of Konkan region of Maharashtra.  Lonere is 150kms away from Mumbai on Mumbai-Goa National Highway (NH-17) and 140 kms away from Pune. Lonere is well connected by Road and Railway to Pune and Mumbai.

Proceedings

Proceedings in hard bound format will be made available at the conference. Papers selected for paper presentation sessions will be published in the proceedings. A summary of all papers selected for posters sessions will also be included in the proceedings.
