About me

Academic life:

I am Saksham Jain, a fresher in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay), and I am expected to graduate in 2027. I am currently pursuing foundational coursework in computer science.
Living on campus as a hostel resident has been a transformative experience, exposing me to a fast-paced academic environment and a diverse student community. Balancing coursework, assignments, and personal development has been more challenging than during my JEE preparation, but it has also helped me grow in terms of discipline, adaptability, and time management.
I am especially interested in exploring systems programming, machine learning and game development, and I enjoy building projects that deepen my understanding of how software works beneath the surface. I look forward to taking part in collaborative technical activities, research opportunities, and student led initiatives during my time at IIT Bombay.

Non-Academic life:

I come from Madhya Pradesh, one of the most culturally rich and scenic states in India, and I completed my schooling in Agar district. Growing up in a close-knit family has shaped my values and work ethic my father is a businessman, my mother is a teacher, and I have a younger sister.
Outside academics, I enjoy exploring new technologies, participating in student communities, and managing hostel life alongside studies. I like meeting people from different backgrounds, learning from their experiences, and maintaining a balanced routine amid a busy schedule.
