NOTE

 

  1. The list below is indicative of what will be offered as minor courses in Slot 5. Departments, Centres & Schools have the right to modify the above course structure by adding, deleting or substituting a course later on. The structure of all B Tech / DD programs with Minors and Honours would be soon put up on the academic homepage of IIT Bombay.

 

  1. The offering semester is the semester with respect to the JEE 2007 batch in which the course will be run for the first time in the minor slot. One year on, many of the courses that would be run for the 2008 JEE batch during their 3rd semester would be the same as this semester’s. So, students who miss out now can also register for these courses in their 5th semester and so on for all further semesters.

 

  1. For earning a minor, the eligibility criterion is 30 credits in that department/centre/school which should specifically include 5 theory courses (except in the Department of Mathematics where 4 theory courses are permitted).
