Thanks everyone for making it at short notice. It was a great meeting,
and sorry I couldn't arrange a cup of tea -- the KReSIT chaiwala is
closed on Sundays. In this email, I will pen down randomly the thoughts
that went around, and the plan of action (PoA). Please do not forward
this email -- it's pretty casual.

Minutes:

0. Most CP were present (except III and V).

I. POA

1 Get approval from Principal for Class Parents. We will schedule a
meeting of class teachers asap, but let's pick a default date Nov 30
(Thursday) which is the last date of the month. [I know it is a bit
off, but on this day, we are sure to get teachers present.]

2 In the meanwhile, each CP (class parent) get input from their
  "co-parents" on four areas
  + Infrastructure
  + Academics
  + Discipline
  + Assistance to teachers

3. Please pro-actively interact with your co-parents. If you normally do
not interact with other parents, put it in your calendar to call a
bunch of people (e.g. 2 people once a week). Most parents don't mind
the interruption. Do not wait for them to call you. If on the other
hand, you DO interact regularly with a particular bunch of parents,
try to widen your reach. Also actively groom the next CP (all of us
   have only so much time).

II. Thoughts that came up in the meeting (I am just writing bullets
since all of you were present, it will serve as a reminder and I don't
need to expand).

. Goal of CP (Realization that 2000 kids cant be represented by 4 PTA
  Exec Members).
. Broader goal of KVIIT --> Modernization, Infrastructure, Security
. Student Feedback (at higher standards ... Anuradha please help.)
. Sports Meet planning failure
. Alumni, Interfacing with KV Sangathan Delhi.

Thanks
Sharat
