One reputed school in private sector and one from government sector/ under urban Local Body at the station may be associated with each KV. ix) Website development should be taken up more vigorously at school, RO & HQ level. Websites should also be updated on a regular basis to incorporate all major activities/achievements. A proper record should be maintained in respect of students who have got admission in various professional institutions. Website of KVs should display their names to recognise the merits of such achievers. (xi) CBSE has prescribed a number of vocational subjects, which may be taken as part of the curriculum in classes XI and XII. Despite so much of unemployment problem, such vocational subjects are not being offered to the students even in Project Sector Kendriya Vidyalayas. In each Region at least one Kendriya Vidyalaya should be identified to pursue such vocational courses in the interest of the students. All Assistant Commissioners should ensure that VMC Meetings are convened by the Principals in all Kendriya Vidyalayas at least three times a year and their suggestions should be examined and implemented to the extent possible in the best interest of the Vidyalayas. In some KVs, the Executive Committee of the PTAs is not functional. Assistant Commissioners should ensure that PTAs are made functional in all KVs of their region. The Executive Committee should meet once in every six months and the General Body of the PTA should meet once a year Development of computer labs, internet connections and training of teachers in computers should be given special attention to by all ACs.
