As you might have guessed from above, I fancy a bit of photography, favouring natural scenes and close-up shots. You might find me behind the lens, tweaking the exposure and ISO, in presence of a beautiful scenario. However, it is an almost lost hobby now. Coming to hobbies, I am a Computer Science Engineer in the making. Formally this my first education in CS (having done a BTech in Mechanical Engineering). However, I have been associated with the field for quite sometime now. My primary interest lies in the domain of Artificial Intelligence. Currently, I am enrolled in the MS by Research programme (Intelligent Systems).

Semantic Web ParserA python based application that extracts the relevant information from a webpage, by getting rid of unnecessary content such as ads, footers, navigation etc. A model trained to perform binary classification is used to classify if a given HTML tag is necessary or unnecessary.Github - Semantic-Web-Parser

IBM HR Analytics Data AnalysisA project done as part of the Consulting & Analytics Club, IIT Guwahati. The project featured a binary classification task - given the indicative features, the model is to determine whether the person (represented by the vector) would undergo attrition. Information ClusteringThis is an extension to Semantic Web Parser. It is an aggregation of various information retrieval systems - Summarization, QA, Fact Extraction etc. Work has been completed for the Summarization module, based on Multi-document abstractive summarization using chunk-graph and recurrent neural network. Sadly, due to my further lack of knowledge, I haven't been able to complete the project. Hopefully, by the time I graduate, I can present a complete version. Github - Information-Clustering

Recommender SystemsThis project explores the various existent Recommendation Systems. It primarily plays with Collaborative Filtering based methods, including Latent Factor methods.
