ICVGIP 2012

The Eighth Indian Conference on
Vision, Graphics and Image Processing

16th to 19th December, 2012

Call For Co-located Workshops and Events

Co-located workshops and events are expected to form a significant part of ICVGIP 2012. The organizing committee solicits proposals for workshops and events that will be held on December 15 and 16, 2012. Proceedings for the same will be published at a similar venue as the main conference.

These events provide a more homely setting where the participants have the opportunity to discuss both emerging, and fundamental long-standing topics in computer vision, graphics, pattern recognition, and image processing. We hope to bring together researchers from different academic communities as well as from the industry and government institutions. Workshops should be well-focused, and encourage collaboration and discussions among the participants. Workshop duration may be for a half day (3 hours) or full day (6 hours).

The events and workshops may may consist of talks by invited speakers, panel discussions, presentations by authors of submitted papers, or a combination of the above. When papers are solicited, please keep the ICVGIP conference dates in mind, including the decision dates.

Proposals can be sent to icvgipChairs@icvgip.org

The deadline for all proposal submission is July 20, 2012.
Decisions will be made by August 10, 2012. New proposals are not being accepted now.

A proposal should include the following information:

  • Title, topic and sample call for workshops/co-located event.
  • Justification of the workshop/co-located event.
  • Names and contacts of the organizers
  • Tentative program committee and invited speakers
  • Proposed length of the workshop/co-located event.
  • Submission Deadline and Decision Deadline (latest by October 20, 2012)
