CS251 norms command me to not simply bore you with the descriptions of all my hobbies but only of those which pique your interest.
So go on, choose from the list below to know more.
Running
I owe this one to my dad, who took me out to one of his weekend runs. Initially it was only
something I took up as a challenge, but soon it became a hobby of sorts. Now, I find going out for a run as
the best way to relax myself mentally. I have completed 2 half-marathons (21.1km) till date and plan to do a full-marathon some day.
Listening to Music
My taste is music is not very specific and I listen to all sorts of songs. This is partly the courtesy of me and my
brother constantly bombarding each other with recommendations.
I even listen to music while studying which
weirdly enough doesn't break my focus. Some songs I frequently play on repeat are:
Bowling for peace by Prasanna
Hope is a heartache by LÉON
Heat Above by Greta Van Fleet
Willy's Song by Rayland Baxter
Reading Novels
I have always loved reading since my mom bought us the complete Amar Chitra Katha set. The transition towards novels
began with the Harry Potter and the Percy Jackson series. I tend to stay in the fiction-genre most of the time. Some other
novels I have loved are:
The Clifton Chronicles by Jeffrey Archer
The Robert Langdon books by Dan Brown
Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace
As of now, I have a bunch of novels which are all uncharted territory due to the (mostly self-induced) lack of time.
Swimming
Nothing much to say about this one. Started going out for swims in the 8th grade with school friends and discovered
that I loved to stay in the water if given the opportunity :).
