Facial detection attendance system is an attendance system used to mark atten- dance by using facial recognition. In this type of attendance marking the tutor takes an image of the whole class which is uploaded to the server in which the actual recognition and attendance marking is carried out.This reduces time consumed for attendance marking. Microsoft Azure API is used with python for facial recognition and detection is carried out by dlib in python.
In the field of neuro prosthetics, the current method involves controlling the prosthesis with electromyography (EMG) or electrooculography/electroencephalography (EOG/EEG). However, these systems are both expensive and time consuming to calibrate, susceptible to interference, and require a lengthy learning phase by the patient.By using AR glasses equipped with a monocular camera, a marker attached to the prosthesis is tracked. The prosthetic hand is 3d printed as per the user's requirement. Minimal relative movements of the head with respect to the prosthesis are registered by tracking and used for controlling the prosthetic hand.
