Contents of a good critique towards a research paper:
1. Problem definition
2. State the main contribution of the paper
3. State (at least) two good ideas in the paper (ideas you wish you had
come up with:)
4. State two weaknesses in the paper.
5. Suppose you could ask two questions of the authors. What would you ask?
6. What would be an interesting extension to the work (preferably, not
mentioned in the future work section).
7. One other issue about the paper that you’d like to see discussed in the class.
