Khushboo Tiwari

About Me

Currently, I am a Research Scholar in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at IIT Bombay. I am affiliated with SynerG (System & Networking Research Group) and working under guidance of Prof. Mythili Vutukuru. My research focuses on Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Data plane programmability using P4, 5G networks and application telemetry. I obtained my masters degree in Computer Science from the IIIT Naya Raipur, following my bachelor's from CSVTU (C.G.).

Research

My PhD research focusses on collecting telemetry data from 5G networks using programmable switches. Currently, we are leveraging a programmable switch to capture data from the 5G core. In the future, we will extend this to RAN telemetry and sequence monitoring using alternative techniques such as eBPF. For my MTech thesis, I focused on the runtime detection of bugs in the data plane using P4 programming language.
