About me

Newsflash: I have graduated! I am now at IBM Research the University of Washington, Seattle. My new page can be found here

Welcome to my home on the world wide web. I was born, brought up (and spoilt) in the beautiful city of Nagpur in India, where I spent 22 years of my life. Currently, I am a graduate student of the department of Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay. I am working on Web query interpretation for my Masters thesis. Prof. Soumen Chakrabarti is my advisor.

Before coming to IIT Bombay, I graduated with a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) Nagpur in 2012. As a part of my Bachelor of Technology thesis, I investigated agent designs that can learn to play Infinite Mario, a variant of the popular action game Mario Bros. Please visit my Projects page to know more about my previous work.

When not engaged in Computer Science-y stuff, I like to read fiction; Jefferey Archer and John Grisham are some of my favorite authors. At other times, I can be found looking at cat photos on the internet.
