ICVGIP 2012

The Eighth Indian Conference on
Vision, Graphics and Image Processing

16th to 19th December, 2012

Visa Related Information

There is no provision for "Visa on Arrival" in India. Hence, ICVGIP 2012 delegates who are not citizens of India should ensure that they are in possession of a valid Indian visa before they start their journey to India.

You may apply for your Indian visa at the Indian Embassy/High Commission/Consulate nearest to your place of residence. Since the process of issuing a visa can sometimes be lengthy, you are strongly advised to apply well in advance. You are also strongly advised to apply for a non-business visa, and yes, you can attend the conference with this visa. You may refer to this link for additional information about Indian visa.

Visa letters will be issued only after completion of registration (with confirmation from the conference organizers).

If your paper has been accepted to ICVGIP 2012, then you can request a invitation letter for purposes of your visa application from the Microsoft CMT portal directly.

If you are not the author of an accepted paper and need an official invitation letter for purposes of your visa application, please send an email to icvgip12@cse.iitb.ac.in with (a) Name as it appears in the Passport (b) Passport Number (c) Validity (d) Place of issue, and (e) Date of Issue

The organizing committee of ICVGIP 2012 has sought necessary approvals and clearances from the concerned ministries and departments of Government of India for hosting the conference in IIT Bombay.
