The aim of this workshop is to provide a forum for peer interaction among acdemicia, industry, research labs, and researchers in the areas of Computer Vision, Image Processing, Computer Graphics and Pattern Recognition in India. As a result, we expect the research work to be later moulded in a more polished form. IUPRAI, the Indian chapter of IAPR, is the co-ordinating association. The first workshop in this context was organized at Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai in Feb. 2002. In continuation, the second workshop will be organized at Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, Gwalior.
