I was ranked 5^th among half a million candidates in the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology - Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) 2010 and then topped among a million in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) the same year.

At the international level, I have had the privilege of representing India twice - firstly in Japan at the Asian Science Camp 2009 which was attended by 200 students and 10 leading scientists (including 7 Nobel laureates) from all over the continent, and then at the International Physics Olympiad in Croatia, where I won a silver medal, standing 41st in the world.

• I was awarded the coveted Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahana Yojana, i.e., KVPY Scholarship under the SA stream by the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 2008.
• Have been a recipient of the NCERT-organized National Talent Search Examination scholarship, NTSE 2008 onwards (though I haven't received a penny since 2010 :-/ ).
• Awarded the CBSE Merit Scholarship for Professional Studies 2010-14 for excelling in AIEEE
• INLAKS Award of Excellence 2011-14, given to one student per batch for all-round proficiency in the first year at IIT Bombay
• Prime Minister's Trophy Sarvottam Scholarship granted by SAIL in Honor of Outstanding Academic Performance from 2010-14
• Rural Electrification Corporation's Award for outstanding achievement at the IPhO
• FIITJEE reward for standing 5^th in IIT-JEE
