Hi,

    Thanks for visiting my homepage. I am Hrishikesh, presently working with a startup called Deusco Technologies. Before joining Deusco Technologies, I was at Database Research Group of IIT Bombay where I worked with Prof. S. Sudarshan and Dr. Soumen Chakrabarti on the BANKS [Browsing ANd Keyword Searching in databases] project. This page is completely outdated and I will son try to give a new look/content to this page.

    I was born since 06th May 1979 in Malvan [Konkan], a small town settled in the ranges of Sahyadri with beautiful sea on one side. Take a look at my resume for more on educational details. I generally rise up by 11-11:30 in the afternoon. This is when my day starts. I work till late nights. You can find me working in the company even at 0300 in the early morning.
There are few things in my life that I really enjoy. Among them, reading marathi novels, swimming and trekking are some of my favourite activities. I have been trekking in the deep mountains of Sahyadris since my childhood. I have conquered many difficult climbs of Sahyadris. Visit this link to know more on my treks.     I work on a linux [Red Hat Fedora 2] box named nova. According to WordNet, nova means a star that ejects some of its material in the form of a loud and become more luminous in the process. I have also worked on FreeBSD. It is one my favourite OS. After becoming familiar with FreeBSD, Fedora seems to be good option for me right now. I have also worked on many window managers like WMaker, IceWM etc. But these days, I am happy with Enlightement[ E-16] Aqua theme. IceWM with microGUI is also one of my favourite combination [ Take a look at the snap of my old IceWM Desktop now].
