  • For accepted papers, at least one author should register at early-bird non-student rate for the paper to appear in the digital archives of ACM. For authors who are common to more than one accepted paper, one early-bird non-student registration will cover up to 3 papers. Other authors of such papers who will be attending the conference must register separately under student/non-student rates as appropriate. Every accepted paper must be presented by one of the authors.

  • Note that the registration will be considered complete only after we receive the payment. A confirmation email will be sent to the registered participants. An invoice stating the registration amount will be provided to the participants at the conference venue

  • Registration fees includes admission to all technical sessions (including tutorials), daily lunch, banquet dinner and conference kit.

 

B. Accommodation Information

(Please note that, for operational reasons, accommodation requests cannot be entertained separately and must be submitted together with registration information).

December is peak season in Chennai. Limited accommodation for delegates will be provided on first-pay-first-served basis. If you book through us, travel between the conference and accommodation venues will be arranged. Although, you can make a request for accommodation until November 25, 2010, you are advised to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Post this date, any request for accommodation will not be entertained by us.

  • Student accommodation: Accommodation for students will be made available in the hostels of IIT Madras. (Rs. 150 per day including food). Students can pay the hostel charges upon arrival. The conference venue is at a walkable distance from the hostels. Please note that only students are eligible for hostel accommodation.

  • Delegate accommodation: We will arrange for accommodation at special rates in well-maintained guest houses in/nearby IIT Madras campus and Hotel Ginger located in IIT Madras Research Park. The cost (including taxes) will be approximately Rs. 1200 (~ US $ 25) per head per night on a twin-sharing basis (excludes food).

    If you wish to avail delegate accommodation, you need to confirm by paying one-night accomodation charge along with the registration fees which will be subsequently adjusted against your actual lodging charges. The details of guest houses/hotels/hostels where you will be put up will be intimated to you towards end of November. On arrival, please correspond directly with the guest house/hotel regarding your stay.

  • Cancellation and Refund Policy: For rooms booked through us, any cancellation, if intimated on or before November 25, 2010, will receive full refund.

If you wish to make your own arrangements, the following hotels offer limited number of rooms at special rates for ICVGIP10 delegates. To avail these special rates, please contact the hotel, well in advance, by email or phone and mention that you are an "IIT Madras ICVGIP10" delegate. In case you book in any of the following two hotels, please inform us at reg_acc_icvgip@ee.iitm.ac.in Once we receive your registration fees, we will send you a letter confirming your participation in the event. Please note that when you arrive at the hotel you would be required to show this letter for verification purpose. For cancellation and refund policies, please contact the hotel directly.

C. Payment options

The total amount to be paid includes i) the registration fees, ii) accommodation charges for one night (if delegate accommodation is booked through us), and iii) extra banquet coupons, if any. Payment can be made through the following modes (Please note that no other mode of payment is acceptable):

D. Registration cum Accomodation Form

Please download the registration cum accommodation form from here. Both the pages of this form should be filled-up, signed and sent to reg_acc_icvgip@ee.iitm.ac.in, or the pages may be faxed to 0091-44-22570120. Also, email or fax to us a copy of the draft (or a copy of the wire transfer receipt, as the case may be) clearly mentioning the name(s) of the person(s) for whom the registration/accommodation is meant.

 

E. Check list
