Hello! I am Ameya Vikrama Singh, a junior at IIT Bombay, CSE department, and this is my website.
It is my first ever website, made as part of a basic sophomore Software Systems course. I have listed on this
website
many things about myself. Feel free to contact me via the links provided, and we could talk about
anything!
What am I up to?
Aside from a certain stellar conjunction of assignments and responsibilities, this long week was
quite the experience.
The Mathematics and Physics Club, for which I am a convener, held its first offline event of this
tenure, and I'd say it went
really well for an MnP event (maybe I'm not allowed to say this, but why are people doing hard math
on a long weekend?).
From cleaning the event venue at midnight before the event, to typesetting the question paper at 3
AM, it was well worth the effort.
I am not even an EE student (anymore), but my favorite department allowed me to play in their
basketball tournament, and we breezed through
qualifiers and semifinals only to get crushed in the finals :(. (Can you guess the final score
from the pic below?)

All-Time Favs
Here is a miscellaneous list (not chronological) of a lot of things I'd like to keep 'out there somewhere'.
Linear Algebra in Graph Theory
This blogpost was inspired from course material covered in EE113 Module 5,
and talks about some results linking Combinatorics and Spectral Graph Theory.
Whose Game?
This blogpost is based out of my Summer of Science reading project on
Combinatorial Games. It talks about analyzing partizan combinatorial games with Red-Blue Hackenbush as the prototype.
Its sequel is currently in progress.
The ~25 days I spent on inelegantly bashing out the solution to this problem formed an
unexpected learning experience, and are a prized memory. The linear algebra I learnt at this
time allowed me to get through
MA106 without having to watch a single lecture or slides.

A mathematical optimization problem, with an unexpectedly elegant physical solution. I would
recommend you to go through the problem and the hints in sequence trying to solve the problem
at every stage.
