CS792 - Communication Skills

Semester 2 (Spring), 2020-2021

Overview

This is the communication skills course for CSE post-graduate students. Here we will try to explore how to make the communication of technical ideas more accessible and clear. We will discuss how to parse and understand technical content in research papers. Then we will discover how to present your own ideas in the form of a technical paper or report. Next, we will venture into how to pitch them to an audience during a presentation. Hopefully, during all this, we will also figure out how to enunciate our thoughts and express abstract notions with clarity and forethought.
