I am Pranav Hari Panicker, a 1st year student in the MS by Research programme at the CSE department of IIT Bombay. I have previously completed my Bachelors (B.Tech) at IIT Tirupati in Electrical Engineering, and I just graduated this year in May 2023. I am born and have been brought up in Mumbai, and have visited the campus here way too often. So no surprises that it has always been a dream of mine to study here, right in the most prestigious Institute of our country!
My interests in academics & research are in AI, and particularly in Deep Learning applications in various fields like Computer Vision, NLP etc. I am currently working as a research assistant under Prof. Ganesh Ramakrishnan Sir in the stream of Intelligent Systems, primarily with my current research focus being on DL for LLMs (Large Language Models). I am thrilled to be here at this wonderful campus, and am eager to explore a lots of activities along with my curriculum and research, so as to have an extremely fruitful and memorable experience in the 1st year. Currently I am at Hostel 18, and am always excited to meet, interact and discuss stuff with anyone.
